Course overview

The Australian College of Project Management's Advance Diploma of Project Management provides a working knowledge of program management as well as an understanding of methods, techniques and tools to successfully deliver program of projects.

There is a strong emphasis on contemporary management practices, enabling participants to shift up and down effectively from the strategic level through to the operational and tactical levels.

This practical, accelerated program covers the higher level attributes of managing multiple projects and is aligned with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) to cover the nine project management areas.

Career opportunities and Learning Outcomes

Career opportunities include - Program Management, Portfolio Management and Project Directing roles.

Graduates of this program will be able to integrate multiple projects, a program of related projects, a mega-project or a multi-faceted organisational change to achieve planned business outcomes, while successfully managing internal and external client expectations.

Program and portfolio management continues to emerge as professional disciplines due to the clear need for increased governance of corporate projects and better alignment between projects and business strategy.
