1. I have read the overview for the Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma but I am unsure what level of training is appropriate for me?

It is recommended that before you proceed to register for the Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma that you complete a skills audit to clarify which level of training is most suitable for your currently level of knowledge, experience and skill.

Please note the skills audit is only a guide. If you are still unsure which workshop to attend, we can arrange for you to speak with a facilitator about course content in depth.

12. What does a Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) assessment involve?

RCC is a way of acknowledging that you don’t need to complete formal training in particular areas if you’ve already achieved the necessary level of competence through your workplace experience.

Recognition of Current Competence isn’t a shortcut to obtaining a qualification. To obtain an exemption from training, you will need to complete a rigorous process to evaluate and accredit your existing skills and competence.
