Project Management Competency Standards

The Australian College of Project Management courses are based on the National Competency Standards for Project Management. The Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma align to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) 4, 5 and 6.

The courses provide guidance across the nine functions of project management, recognised globally by project management professional associations including the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Our course content is recognised by both AIPM and PMI for their professional development and assessments including recognition and registration as project managers. The nine functions of project management are:

All of the ACPM courses have been developed in line with the following professional associations standards:
