Are you seeking the critical alignment of your organisation's portfolio of programs, and its overarching business strategy?
Do you recognise the need to select the 'right' projects, while balancing risk, ensuring sound governance, maintaining stakeholder support, and delivering postulated benefits?
ACPM's Advanced Diploma of Project Management provides the essential skills to navigate multiple projects from business case to benefits realisation.
We have a practical approach to training delivery by facilitators who are experienced Project Management practitioners, ensuring a balance between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.
Participant outcomes:
Broadened knowledge of Project Management aligned with PMI's Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK®).
Ability to focus on strategic aspects of Program Management which are significantly different to Project Management.
Who should attend?
Experienced Program Managers directing multiple projects or programs. Project Directors managing large, high value, or high risk projects or programs, Senior Managers with multiple Project/Program Managers reporting to them.
The course provides a practical seminar-style workshop that addresses the key challenges facing Program Managers.
It incorporates a blend of formal learning, experiences and interactive sessions that provide a pragmatic understanding of how to manage the areas of greatest importance to most Program Managers, Project Directors and other senior management involved in the oversight of projects.
A key feature of the workshop is the active encouragement of attendees to share their own knowledge and insights within the group.
The course includes three days training and is followed by a competency-based assessment.
